SYNOPSIS
The finding of hundreds of dead swans on october 2004 in the Rio Cruces Sanctuary located in Valdivia Chile caused a social movement that surprises because of its force and diversity of faces and demonstrators against the pollution of the river. In their challenge to stop the disaster, the citizens had to confront an algid  economic, politic and judicial conflict that over took the environmental institutions and pushed to reform them. Finally they comprehended that the destiny of the city was linked to the destiny of the swans. This movie narrates the most significative episodes of the conflict that  sparked off a historical change in the chilean environmental institutions and laws. This thru the eyes of the diversity of faces and citizen voices.
